I love this look because I found this quite different , funny and interesting                  to the usual Halloween looks. I would create this by applying the two shades to pink to the half of the face. Then paint the cat features on and colour in accordingly. Fake whiskers could be added to give it a more effective look with a black paint. the eyes are just a yellowy colour

i really enjoy this picture you just  added a lot of very orange foundation , alot of brozer and white face paint of eye brows its a very easy look

5 favourite make-up products

Monistat-Chafing-GelNow I know this isn’t a makeup product, but this amazing gel makes for a fantastic face primer! I use this almost everyday to give a smooth finish to my skin before applying my foundation. It is very comparable to Smashbox’s Photo Finish Primer.

Revlon-Colorstay-FoundationThis matte finish foundation covers really well- even better than many high end foundations! There’s a wide range of colours and formulas for both dry skin and combination/oily skin.

Physicians-Formula-Mosaic-PThis pressed powder is great for setting the foundation or for contouring.  Since the powder isn’t heavy, it doesn’t appear cakey like some other powders.

NYX-Eyeshadow-PaletteThese palettes are sleek, super pigmented, and great quality!  Best product by NYX so far. I truly do love these babies!

Prestige-Waterproof-EyelineThis liner is so smooth and glides easily on the eyes- its texture is very similar to Urban Decay’s 24/7 eyeliners.

curriculum for excellence

At college we participate in the Curriculum for Excellence (CfE)which helps us be better learners and can help in the future, after education. It identifies four purposes that anables young people to be successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors

my special effects class is linked to CfE because it helps us develop our skills and make us more confident and proud in our work. because you have to be committed in special effects and have an open mind on what you are trying to create like cuts bruising burns etc. This also helps us become successful learners

Hairdressing class is another which is linked to cfe. If we are not successful learners in hairdressing we could damage someone. We have to be confident to talk and explain things to clients and also to try knew techniques and hairstyles to help us stand out and pass the course. Being responsible In this class helps keep people sake as we are working with chemicals and electrical equipment. If propel contribute it could help other pass, be more confident and also learn more.
my character makeup class is linked to CfE as well because it helps our confidence and skills because we are practicing different techniques and again, dealing with different people. It also helps us be respectful of other people in regards to needs and products we use.

my wig class is linked to CfE because it helps us be successful in that profession. Even though we aren't necessarily working with people as much, the individual attention can help us progress much more than some of the other classes and i find it very fun and relaxing

Overall, all of my classes this year can help be progress to be an effective contributor in the future by helping us get the correct skills to get a successful job in the future, as well as helping us build confidence. i really enjoy college this year and find it very interesting

WIGS

different wigs

A wig is a head of hair made from horse hair, human hair  wool feathers, yak hair, buffalo hair, or synthetic materials which is worn on the head for fashion or various other aesthetic and stylistic reasons, including cultural and religious observance. The word wig is short for periwig and first appeared in the English language around 1675.

Ancient use
The ancient Egyptians wore them to shield their shaved, hairless heads from the sun. The Egyptians also wore the wigs on top of their hair using beeswax and resin to keep the wigs in place. Other ancient cultures, including the Assriens, Peniocans, Greeks and Romans, also used wigs. Wigs are principally a Western form of dress—in the Far East  they have rarely been used except in the traditional Theatre of China and Japan. Some East Asian entertainers (Japanese Geisha, Korean Kisagne) wore wigs (Katsura and Gacha respectively) as part of their traditional costumes.
skin conditions

Whilst learning to be a makeup artist you need to be aware of different skin conditions that may be presented to you. These conditions can range from acne to eczema. Different preparations and types of makeup will need to be used to suit the clients needs.

For example, with acne, a serum may be applied to the face to protect the skin from it becoming more contaminated by the makeup. The skin should also be cleansed every day and medication may be required, depending on the severity of the condition. With eczema, the skin should be properly moisturised before makeup is applied as it may irritate the skin. A deep moisturising lotion could be used daily to treat the condition and reduce the dryness of the skin.
